Roseanna arrived at Maricopa County Animal Care and Control East Shelter in Mesa, Arizona, just after her third birthday.
The shelter staff had seen many heartbreaking cases, but Roseanna’s condition was particularly devastating.
She suffered from:

✔ Significant fur loss
✔ Obesity due to an underlying medical condition
Veterinarians soon diagnosed her with hypothyroidism, a condition that explained her physical struggles.
But that wasn’t all—Roseanna was also completely deaf, making her journey to recovery even more challenging.
A Gentle Soul with a Fighting Spirit
Despite her hardships, Roseanna never lost her sweet nature.
She radiated positivity and warmth, refusing to let her past define her future.
Her gentle demeanor inspired the shelter staff, who vowed to do everything possible to give her the second chance she deserved.

With love and dedication, Roseanna’s caregivers worked tirelessly to improve her health and quality of life.
