Tiny Bulldog Who Went Through A Lot Meets Santa Asking To Finally Live The Life He Deserves

Sadly, not every person sees the potential or beauty in every dog.

Some overlook their unique qualities, but fortunately, others recognize their worth and see them as the special beings they truly are.

Today’s story is about a sweet dog who was once overlooked due to some medical issues. Grape, a little Bulldog, was surrendered to a shelter by a breeder who could no longer care for him.

But despite his medical challenges, Grape’s true value was seen by those with big hearts, who knew he deserved all the love and care life has to offer.

A Unique Pup with a Big Personality

Grape, a tiny rescue Bulldog, was taken in by Roadogs Rescue, a nonprofit organization in Southern California dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating Bulldogs with medical issues and birth defects.

When Roadogs Rescue heard about Grape’s condition, they welcomed him with open arms, knowing he deserved a chance.

His foster mom, Cailee Betrus, shared, “You name it, Grape’s probably got it, but we believe dogs like him deserve a chance too. You can’t just throw an animal away because it needs extra care. He brings so much joy—he’s just a wonderful little guy.”

Despite his medical struggles, Grape is full of life and joy.

Though he’s smaller than most dogs and looks a bit different, he doesn’t let that stop him from living his best life.

“Grape has a HUGE personality. We joke that he’s a toddler wrapped in fur. His favorite thing is human attention—he wants to be held and loved 24/7.

He’s goofy and loves to be dressed up,” Cailee added.

Hoping for a Forever Home

Grape’s rescuers knew he deserved the best home, and they worked tirelessly to find him one.

But, after a while, the perfect family was still nowhere to be found. That’s when Cailee came up with an idea that would change everything: Why not take Grape to meet Santa?

Meeting Santa

When Cailee learned that a local mall was hosting a pet day with Santa, she knew it was the perfect opportunity for Grape to shine.

He loved riding in his stroller, meeting new people, and spreading joy. “I knew he would make so many people smile,” she said.

When they arrived at Santa’s workshop, Grape could barely contain his excitement.

Not only did he meet Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus, but he also interacted with all the visitors who came to experience the holiday magic.

Cailee attached a sign to his stroller, letting everyone know he was looking for his forever home.

Grape’s infectious joy and loving nature won hearts instantly. “People are always shocked when they see a dog like Grape in person,” Cailee explained.

“He has some congenital issues and is smaller than most Bulldogs, which sparks curiosity. But once people interact with him, they see how gentle and sweet he is—and he steals hearts.”

One of the workers even cried when meeting him.

His face and story touched her deeply, proving once again that Grape’s inner beauty shined brighter than any physical appearance.

Looking for the Right Home

Now, Grape is on the lookout for a family who can provide him with the love and attention he deserves.

He would thrive in a home where he can be the only dog and the center of attention.

Ideally, his new family would spend a lot of time indoors, and maybe even take him out in his stroller to explore.

Grape would do best with an experienced Bulldog owner who understands his needs.

Ultimately, what he wants most is a warm, loving family who will treat him like the perfect pup he is.

“Essentially, Grape wants to be the apple of your eye,” Cailee concluded.
